Who is Clarence Rich?

For over a decade, Clarence Rich has refined his style throughout New Jersey, using murals to create a sense of place and community. He is a classically trained painter, earning a certificate of Fine and Commercial Arts at DuCret School of the Arts. 

In 2010, his show “Outside Your Box” at Solos Art House Gallery in Newark, NJ combined his assertive, colorful style with contemporary design. These pieces launched an examination into a space of what is and what will be. Rich is constantly playing with language, translating the poetry of spoken word into visual experiences.

Now, Rich’s work can be seen in galleries throughout the tri-state area, with exhibitions in Philadelphia and Jersey City.
